Beyond things is a band of old friends.
I met Marty, Bass, the first time I came to bloomington. He was a skate punk who was into the CURE. i told him i was gonna start a band. he said, what instrument do you play... I said "i sing" we became fast friends. I met Darin, vocals, just after i moved to town. his old band, THE YARN MARVINS, was the first show i saw in bloomington. It was in the hallway of the allen building at 11:00am. We al stayed up all night to be up early enough for the show. I met nick shortly after and was a big fan of his bands, PRETTY PONY and SWAY KISS. Later he became a halfing cleric in my DnD group...his name was odgen.
I met hannah on the streets of bloomington on day. We later started some bands together..... so on... so on...

Darin and Marty were both in the first ever plan-it-x band, with me... we were called THE TED DANCIN' MACHINE.
Darin, Marty and Nick we also all in a GREAT bloomington band called the PANOPLY ACADEMY GLEE CLUB.
BEYOND THINGS sounds more like TPAGC than TDM with a slight touch of GHOST MICE since hannah plays violin and sings some.
