After OPERATION: CLIFF CLAVIN broke up, Hannah and I (chris) started another band called DISARM. DISARM was much like OPCC with x-roadie turned drummer Matte cathcart (now the drummer in the DOOR-KEYS and DEAR LANDLORD). DISARM released one 7" on hotsauce records went on tour and broke up. I felt like giving up on being in a band since I couldn't seem to make it work out anymore. I decided that i must be a jerk and should quit trying. then GRANT ( a really great drummer ) kept saying we should start a band. I thought he was joking since his talent was on a whole different level than ours but he kept trying until one day he called me and ask "when do you want to practice?". So we got together and "jammed" and it was good. It turned out we could get along pretty well I guess so off we went. We got off to a slow start then released out 7" in NOV of 2000 and toured a lot. we later released a full length CD called "i've never trusted a revolutionary that was afraid to dance" we toured a little more sold all of those CDs and broke up a little later. I repressed it with all the other songs we recorded including the split with TBIAPB on risk records and the songs we recorded for a split with ABE FROMAN, on smack dab in the middle records, which never came out because they broke up and the songs we recorded for a split with CARRIE NATIONS which also never came out but that was the label's fault in this case.
so all of those songs got thrown on a CD DISCOGRAPHY, by the same name as our full length, except it says: "and a bunch of other stuff". we also put on the disarm 7" for fun. so you get about 20 extra songs. i really think that the songs from the unreleased 7"s are our best songs we ever did.
also, if you would like the LP version of the first pressing (without the extra 20 songs) you can order it from me too for 7$ postage paid (from PLAN-IT-X). it was released on hot sauce records and has one extra song on it. the extra song is not on the new pressing.
