GHOST MICE
we play 100% acoustic. we never use amps or mics [except once at plan-it-x fest and once in austin TX]. we have been playing in bands together for about 7 years. we started ghost mice in 2002 because we we tired of being restricted. we were tired of having to travel in big vans and depend on amps, PA systems and electricty. with ghost mice we can travel very light and we need nothing to play. we often play in back yards or on the street corner in front of the venue. we have toured the USA many times and we toured europe (germany, holland, denmark, austria, italy, slovenia, sweden, norway, the chez republic, portugal, switzerland, northen ireland, greece, france, spain, belgium, england, wales, scotland and ireland) by foot and in friend's cars. on our first tour in europe we hitch hiked and took trains to all of our shows. it was fun and very liberating. we sing a mix of personal and politcal songs, we are anarchist. we are dedicated to the DIY ethic and the struggle to make the world a better place. we play music and travel for fun and to meet new people. music is our lives. we love travel. we are nice and a little shy. please feel free to get in touch with us about anything.

HOW WE GOT A FRENCH GUY IN OUR BAND
pascal ordered a BANANAS CD from me just before we were planning our first europe tour. i asked him if he could book us a show in paris. he had never really booked shows before but gave it a try. he ended up booking us a great show in a squat in the outskirts of the city and we became good friends. in the course of booking the show he made more friends in the parisian DIY punk scene and became more involved in show booking and started a distro. um, i think the next step was plan-it-x-school-bus-fest. he wanted to come. i think he mostly wanted to see dallas TX, since he loves the TV show. in order to allow him to come he had to be in a band. so he joined ghost mice. he has toured with us 2-3 times in the us since then and tours with us in europe usually.
