Heathers

I met HEATHERS on GHOST MICE tour in Ireland when they played our tour kick-off show in Dublin at Dylan's house. it was only their second show ever and Dylan kept telling me how good they were gonna be so i had really high hopes for them. I wasn't really expecting them to live up to all the talk but then they started playing and i knew that they were going to. don't forget, this was only their second show and they were still a little nervous but the songs and their voices shinned through and they were really great. they also played a MOUNTAIN GOATS cover which can be a good or a bad thing but in this case was great. (i love the MOUNTAIN GOATS). After that show we left on a six week tour of europe and when we came back to ireland for the last show, they played with us again. this time the show was in an abandoned building on the beach just south of dublin. it was such a great show and they really stole it. PAUL BARIBEAU played, LYNCHED played and they played. this time they were less nervous (since it was their third show after all) and they played standing up. I knew i was gonna have to ask them to do a record for PIX and i knew i was gonna have to take them on tour in the US as soon as they got out of high school. Did i mention they were/are only 17 years old and that they are twin sisters (just like DELAY).
