Once upon a time in bloomington, we decided it would be funny to host open mics in our basement. they were a huge success and we made a lot of new friends. one of those friends was Casey. she showed up and played a few really short, cute pop songs. when she was done playing she was rushed by the punks. everyone ran up and asked "are you in band?", "do you want to start a band?". somehow i was lucky enough to be one of the people she chose to play with. I played drums (not very well).
This was a short lived bloomington pop band along the lines of go sailor or cub. in fact, we did covers of each of those bands. the band was just us 2 people, Casey on guitar and vocals and (me) chris clavin on drums (poorly). We never got around to recording anything but once, casey played live on the cool local radio station during women in music week and i recorded it. i wasn't there, so it's just her solo. I guess i sort of bootlegged it and released it on CDR (but i was in the band). I quit making the CDRs but it is available for FREE download from www.archive.org
