I first met ONE REASON in maxi, MS. at the little house. they started the band after their old band broke up for one reason (get the name?). that reason was to play with OPERATION: CLIFF CLAVIN in maxi. Back then they were a pop punk band. they were very much a pop punk band. we went and hung out in their van with them outside the house. they had the AC on and it was hot down there. They invited us to come to their town sometime and play at the adventure frame shop, a homemade venue in the alley behind Ginger's (guitar player) Dad's frame shop in cleveland, MS. we went and played and added cleveland to the list of any tour going south. pretty much every band did. the frame shop was a great place to play and ONE REASON were awesome hosts. we had many good times in cleveland MS over the next few years and eventually Ginger and Lexi (drums) moved into Lexi's Grandparent's old farm house and continued to book awesome shows. Over the years ONE REASON'S sound changed. for a while they were slightly hard-core and left their pop punk days behind. then one day they became really great. they somehow combined all of the elements of their previous sounds into one unique and powerful blend of hard-emo-pop-punk? Everyone agreed, ONE REASON was great.
Their first album ("all rivers run south, all roads lead home") was the first release on plan-it-x south. PIX south is a part of PIX records and is run by members of this bike is a pipe bomb. The CD went out of print for sometime and was later repressed by PIX (the normal one, not PIX south)
