We also sell a pretty rad ROSA shirt. just look in the T-shirts section... it's in the side-bar >>>
the ROSA CD is OUT OF PRINT again, sorry.
when i first met ROSA they were just brad and emmalee. they were not very good. brad played an electric guitar and emmalee beat on a snare drum. they were really funny and seemed like nice kids but they weren't very good.
over the next year or so i just kept hearing good things about them. i hadn't heard them since we played with them in TX and had no idea if they had really improved but i decided it would be funny to invite them to headline the first night of plan-it-x fest 2004 in bloomington. they came and they played and everyone loved them. they were really great.
during the next year i released their album, "i mississippi you" and they were a part of the plan-it-x fest school bus tour. without them i would have never completed that tour. driving a bus with 35 people on board can make you really crazy after a while and ROSA kept me sane and happy and laughing. my favorite time on that tour (ROSA wise) was when brad refused to stop reading aloud from a book which claimed to be written by a cat. it was written from the prospective of a cat. everyone was getting pissed and he just kept reading. they were also just really sweet to me. at the end of each drive they would come up and say things like, "thanks for driving" and at the shows they would come up an entertain whoever was stuck working the distro table.
sadly, after that tour they broke up.
