Self-titled

this CD captures the feeling of good friends having fun and making music for fun. It's like a snapshot of a good time. it's like a party photo. it was recorded in france in fall/winter of 2005 while Kimya Dawson was touring in europe. she made friends in france and they formed a band to record a song for the PIX comp "if it ain't cheap, it ain't punk" and they ended up making a whole record (which i was excited to release). all of the kids on this record have other bands too (i think). LEO (who sings and plays on this CD) is in bear creek. he's 13 years old. he writes great songs. KIMYA DAWSON is also in this band (so you know it's awesome)

this is an 11 track collection of friends having fun. sweet mostly acoustic songs with lot's of different people singing. kimya sings a lot too and it sounds kinda like a kimya dawson record but with some really nice additions! Kimya has many other great records you can read about on her web-page. her newest full length (on K records) features guests like matty pop chart and paul baribeau. bear creek has recordings too which you should really hear.
